About Me
Hello there! My name is Siobhan, also known as Chevy or Cheby as a further, cuter deviation from my original nickname.I am an aspiring writer and creative entrepreneur with a backpack full of experiences and lifetime of learning ahead of me. I'm no twit, but follow me on twitter: http://twitter.com/Siobh_Chapman
My current creative endeavours currently include my small business of funky crochet hand made and upcycled goodies, as well as write for a young womens' magazine called lip. Read more through the tabs to the left.
I am passionate about human rights, the priority need for equality in society as well as enjoying ethical, creative and just life experiences. I am often mistaken for a hobbit, due to my small size, odd cravings and frequent eating habits and what my husband calls 'hairy feet' that I, as a lady, absolutely deny.
It's difficult to differentiate between personal and professional when lots of jobs seem to have lost the element of 'care' on a personal level that can really mean the difference between a happy life and an unhappy one for many people. For this reason, I put my heart and soul into the projects that I run and anything that I choose to be involved in; both paid and voluntary, personal and professional.
I strongly believe that humans as a race are part of a bigger life plan that involved all living creatures and that by chance of greed, we have misinterpreted our gift of intelligence. For this reason, I dedicate my life to the understanding, accepting and admiring of those different to me in race or species.
Life is about challenging stereotypes, always taking the path of learning and leaving a creative but eco-friendly footprint in the sands of this marvelous earth. I embrace random acts of kindness in my everyday living and believe we have the capabilities of world peace within our grasp; after all, everything else has been created by us.
